A pretty baby girl, and a pretty handmedown blouse. My aunt’s architect up in New York adopted twins himself. When my aunt told him about our children he sent us a huge box of beautiful high-quality baby clothes his kids had outgrown. Annie is finally big enough for this cheery peasant blouse from Mini Boden. We’ve experienced a lot of kindness from strangers this year!

This is what it looks like when your spouse has to simultaneously carry the ICU and Step Down Unit pager, the hospital wards pager, the hospital admissions pager, and his phone. Also known as “you are unlikely to see your husband at home anytime soon.”

That phone and pager arsenal is too funny – not for you or your husband obviously given the demands on your time, but it does look funny (and would be quite weighty I imagine).
Love the picture of Jack down the back of the bed. Tom Kitten did something similar yesterday, but he fell down between Ginger’s mattress and the toddler safety rail.
Yes, I always hear him talk about days when he’s “carrying all the pagers” but thought he was using a figure of speech. When I stopped by the hospital and saw it in person I was very glad for strong drawstrings on the hospital scrubs!
What beautiful twins! We’re expecting twins in December, and I love all of the twins I’ve been seeing all around. And impressive array of pagers… whew, your husband is in high demand. 🙂
